Operations

Discipline at every step.

Four stages, each documented, insured and independently verified. This is how material moves from a Canadian pit to a buyer's vault.

Stage 01

Sourcing from producing mines

We buy from established, permitted operations in Ontario, Québec and British Columbia: mines with published reserves, active regulatory oversight and audited production records. We do not deal in artisanal or undocumented material.

Supply relationships are built mine by mine. Before the first ounce moves, we review permits, production history and export documentation, and agree a sampling and settlement protocol with the producer.

Assay & quality verification

Every lot is independently verified before title transfers. Doré is sampled and fire-assayed at ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories; concentrates undergo independent weighing, sampling and moisture determination at the load point.

Where buyer and seller assays diverge beyond the agreed splitting limit, a pre-nominated umpire laboratory settles the difference. The protocol is written into every contract, so there is nothing to negotiate after the fact.

Secure logistics

High-value material moves vault-to-vault through specialist secure carriers, fully insured from collection at the mine or refinery to delivery at destination. Concentrate parcels ship containerised or break-bulk under marine cargo insurance.

Customs, export permits and Canadian royalty documentation are handled by our brokers as part of the standard workflow. Delays at borders are a cost we engineer out, not accept.

Stage 04

Settlement & documentation

Pricing is transparent: LBMA benchmark references for gold and silver, international smelter benchmarks for concentrate payables and treatment charges. No hidden spreads.

On delivery, counterparties receive the complete documentary record: weight certificates, assay certificates, insurance documents and the chain-of-custody file tracing the material to its mine of origin.

Compliance

Built to withstand scrutiny.

In precious metals, compliance is not a department; it is the product. Our framework rests on four pillars.

KYC / AML onboarding

Full know-your-counterparty checks in both directions before any transaction, screened against international sanctions lists and refreshed periodically.

OECD five-step due diligence

Our supply-chain programme follows the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals, including risk assessment and documented mitigation.

LBMA-aligned standards

We deal with LBMA-accredited refineries and apply the principles of the LBMA Responsible Gold Guidance across our own operations.

Complete audit trail

Every parcel carries a documentary record from mine of origin to final delivery, retained and available to counterparties, auditors and regulators.
